What is EGR solution?
How is it done?
EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) is a system designed to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in diesel engines. It works by recirculating a portion of exhaust gases back into the combustion chamber, lowering combustion temperatures and thus reducing NOx formation.

While beneficial for emissions, EGR systems are prone to issues like clogging, which can lead to engine performance problems.
EGR solution: Understanding the Process :-
EGR solution is a modification that eliminates the EGR system’s function. This is typically done for two primary reasons:
- Performance Enhancement: By removing the EGR, the engine can operate at peak efficiency without restrictions, potentially leading to increased power and torque.
- Reliability: A faulty EGR system can cause various engine problems. Solution eliminates the system altogether, preventing related issues.
The EGR solution process typically involves:-
- ECU Remapping: Modifying the engine control unit (ECU) to disable the EGR system’s commands.
- Physical Modification: In some cases, physical components of the EGR system may be removed or blocked to prevent exhaust gas recirculation.
